Edward C. Zimmermann <edz@bsn.com>
Edward Zimmermann draws upon several decades of experience in information science
and networking. Back in the early 70s, as an adolescent, Mr. Zimmermann worked
to develop a parallel (client/server) language model, inspired by the
Illiac-IV, for the then developing ARPA network. Since then he has
held positions at various computer manufactures and system houses,
universities, management consultancies and research institutes.
Mr. Zimmermann was educated in economics, mathematics, chemistry and philosophy. He studied at many Universities, including Harvey Mudd, University of California at Irvine, Lund University (Sweden), Kings College (London), Berkeley and UCLA.
He has been a guest scientist/research fellow at innumerable International research institutes and ``think tanks''. His work has covered a broad range of areas from macroeconomic control simulation models (Project Globus/International Institute of Comparative Social Science/Science Centre Berlin) to an analysis of Sweden's taxation legislation (EFI/Stockholm School of Economics for the Swedish Central Bank) to technology development (EEC) to theoretical (micro/mathematical) economics, property rights, social research, market research (senior project consultant for Burke/Infratest) and many other issues.

Norbert Poellmann <np@bsn.com>
Norbert Poellmann holds a degree as Diplom Psychologist (Masters in Psychology) from the University of Munich. His empirical psychological research covered issues in the fields of cognitive (perception and motivation) and social (personal preferences) psychology. As consultant he developed a leading and widely used system for funds evaluation.
Norbert Poellmann has studied psychology, philosophy, mathematical logic and computer science. From 1988 to 1991 he lead the software development in one of Germany's leading management consultancies for the insurance and investment market.
